In response to Norm's suprise… Janis and I live in Melbourne and read
the forum daily. It has been indispensable for many years. Its the
best forum for macs on the net because its like a family.
A similar issue has been brought up in the Melbourne group which is
big and unwieldily - AUSOM. The conclusion is that meetings are
attended by older members and most ppl in general get their info
online these days as ppl want to use their computer better whereas,
in the past, ppl wanted to know how they worked and how they could be
improved by tinkering.
Thanks to all the contributors to this forum of the years, it is a
marvelous and invaluable resource.
