On Sunday I saw a Blue Ray DVD of the latest Bond Movie on a Sony 1080P 40" screen. It *is* very nice - and I'm fussy with image quality. And of course the demo channel looks superb. So I think there will be a market for people who want to see fantastic quality and who the loss of $1500 in format wars won't bother them.

As for me I don't have a TV any more (my 9 y.o. Mitsubishi CRT TV just blew up :-) so it's torrents on a Dell 24" for now. My PVR is lonely though.
