I've installed it into Parallels on customers machines no problems at all. One install I had to use my own CD though, as the Dell CD that came with the customers machine wouldn't work. (Their serial worked fine though). I did know of a person who had a problem installing XP Home, but there CD was Service Pack 1. Again when they used Service Pack2 CD, it worked fine. So I don't see why it shouldn't work under Bootcamp, if it installs in Parallels. Check the version of your disk and maybe try another one if you can. Hope that helps.
