Hi All
Can someone please advise me on a slight problem I may have with my
macbook pro being unable to connect to pages (or mail) when connected
to an internet cafe wireless network? I live in Busselton and have
tried one here and one in Dunsborough when I needed to check my email
while out of the house. both show being connected in the airport pull
down menu, but when I open firefox I just get ' cant connect to
server' msg. when I open mail it tries for a few minutes then stops
Do I need to change something in system prefs or with firefox and mail?
Thanks for any help, as Im due to go to Capetown for an important
conference and would like to be able to check my emails while there
using the wireless network at the hotel but am worried it wont work
there either. I have spoken with the guys at apple Joondalup and
they were not sure about this
