When I Repair Permissions I have found that there are several hundred of them that don't get repaired as per the following sample:

Repairing permissions for “iMac HD”

Warning: SUID file "System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ DiskManagement.framework/Versions/A/Resources/DiskManagementTool" has been modified and will not be repaired. Warning: SUID file "System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ DesktopServicesPriv.framework/Versions/A/Resources/Locum" has been modified and will not be repaired. Warning: SUID file "System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Install.framework/ Versions/A/Resources/runner" has been modified and will not be repaired. Permissions differ on "private/var/log/secure.log", should be - rw------- , they are -rw-r----- . Warning: SUID file "System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Admin.framework/ Versions/A/Resources/readconfig" has been modified and will not be repaired. Warning: SUID file "System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Admin.framework/ Versions/A/Resources/writeconfig" has been modified and will not be repaired. Warning: SUID file "usr/libexec/authopen" has been modified and will not be repaired. ACL found but not expected on "System/Library/User Template/ English.lproj/Sites". Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/ Resources/OwnerGroupTool" has been modified and will not be repaired. ACL found but not expected on "System/Library/User Template/ English.lproj/Desktop". ACL found but not expected on "System/Library/User Template/ English.lproj/Documents". ACL found but not expected on "System/Library/User Template/ English.lproj/Downloads". ACL found but not expected on "System/Library/User Template/ English.lproj/Library/Application Support". ACL found but not expected on "System/Library/User Template/ English.lproj/Library/Assistants".


I doesn't matter how often I run it these are always there. Get the same result/behaviour on G5 iMac and Intel MacBook both running Leopard.

Anyone have a clue on this?
