I'm suffering at the moment with an issue post-update where the Dell display
connected to my G5 isn't being engaged.

After the original 10.5.2 update, my system restarted but the screen
remained black.

I noticed that my iPod stated it was connected and syncronising however, so
I'm believe the computer was running.

After I unplugged a bunch of things, including the my firewire iSight and
PCI USB 2.0 card it booted up.

Subsequent restarts keep bringing back the 'black screen of ignorance.' The
solution keeps changing though.

The only thing I'm doing consistently is unplugging/replugging the computer.
I thought it might be a Graphics card issue (I have an ATI X800) ... It
still might turn out to be.

The issue only started when I installed the 10.5.2 update though, so it's a
pretty unfortunate coincidence if it _is_ a hardware problem.

Cheers,
Toby.
