I can't answer your access question with respect to CUPS but I have looked at http://gutenprint.sourceforge.net/p_Supported_Printers.php3
and can't see the Epson R2880. Am I looking for the printer that you have?
Merv

I am having trouble, ongoing, with a new printer in 10.5.4, in particular I can not get in to CUPS as previously. On my Tiger machines all is well, however and accessible by http://localhost:631/
Reference to CUPS notes that version 1.3.6 is no longer compatible with 10.4+.
Can anyone advise how to access CUPS in 10.5.4 please? I am not terminal savvy and have always just used Safari in the past.
