Hi David
Thank you for that. I can remember talk about the APN and how to set
it up. Also setting up email was reasonably easy (even for a non geek
like me)
I still have about a month to run on my old three plan and so far have
not been very happy with Optus. I have never had so many drop outs and
trying to make sense of their website, well, don't get me started ...
I would like to hear from anyone who is using a three sim in their
iPhone and what the proformance is like.
Cheers
Peter

Peter,
Just make sure you change your APN (Settings -> General -> Network ->
Cellular Data Network -> APN) to 3services. This will allow you to
view the three homepage (http://www.three.net.au) when on a 3G
network, retrieve email, etc.
Not sure if this is the advice your after. But if you do move to three
or already with three, this is the main configuration setting you'll
need.
Email also works on the iPhone, I can provide the connection settings
if you don't know them.
