Hi Steven, That's good to hear. I should have mentioned to always use the ethernet connection when messing with the router settings.
Trying to setup a wireless router via the wireless connection is a bit like trying to saw off the tree branch when you're sitting on it - asking for trouble :) With the other problem, try Googling with the key points (Mac OSX Linksys WAG160N wireless extend Time Capsule - that sort of thing) - you can sometimes find the same problem discussed on various forums.
