Hi Kevin,
If that is your internal burner on the iMac you can burn DVD-DL no
problems ... DVD-Write: +R DL. means it can Write to DVD+R Dual Layer
discs.
Make sure you use a DVD+R DL disc & burn slowly. I burn DL DVDS's at
2x burn.
Depending on what version of Toast you are using, below is
instructions for Toast 8 or 9.
1 At the left side of the Toast window, click Copy and choose Disc Copy.
2. Choose any optional settings:
3. Insert the original disc into your recorder.
4. Click the Red Record button, choose a recorder from the list and
configure recording options, such as number of copies.
5. Click Record to continue
6. When prompted, insert a blank, recordable disc of the same type as
the source disc.
Toast displays a progress bar and status information as it copies your
disc.
If you only have one drive on your computer, Toast will copy all the
contents of the original to a temporary file on your hard disk and
then write it to the blank disc.
The temporary file is deleted automatically when the copy is complete.
You may need up to 15 GB of temporary free hard disk space depending
on the type of disc you are copying.
Cheers,
Ronni
