Hi Ian One thing also to note which happens with some scanners and software, is that when the TWAIN (scanner driver) is in use with one Application the other Application doesn't always get control of it. For example, if you've just tried to use it with Epson Scan and found it didn't work then opened Image Capture straight away it "generally" won't always work. If you restart the computer and open Image Capture first (and not open Epson Scan), and then see if it works from there. That way, if it doesn't work with the Epson software, then you've got a fall back at least. I'd be surprised if it doesn't work full stop though, as I've got clients who have similar models.
