Hi Ian

Did you try my suggestion of uninstalling the scanner software completely
from the Epson installer, restarting then just trying Image capture with the
"pre built in" TWAIN drivers?
(It was from my long email yesterday 6.03pm, so you may have missed it.)
Bit of a long shot, but at least one last thing to try before writing it
off. :o)
