Hi Ronni ,
Hi Bob,
Oh my goodness! ... I had just uninstalled the drivers for the 1670
it and re-installed my Epson TX700W Scan Utility. ;o)
So just to clarify everything I downloaded the file above & installed
the 1670 AGAIN ...
Just so we are not confusing people can I check what you actually have
Here in mine I after installing the 1680 package I have
In Applicaions ..... Epson Scan.app 2.73
YES
in ....... Hard drive - Image capture - devices Epson
Scanner.app 4.1.0
YES
in ... Hard drive - Image capture - Twain Data Sources Epson
Perfection 1670.ds 2.7.7 ( 2.7.7a3 )
YES
Hard drive - Image capture - Twain Data Sources Epson
Perfection 2480_2580.ds 2.50
NO (this would not be installed) As you have said "The Epson 2580
is your own scanner".
I delete any drivers I don't have a need for, I only have drivers
pertaining to my particular Printers / Scanners installed.
The Epson 2580 is my own scanner
Regards
Bob
I always check before I post to WAMUG that the information I am giving
is correct. I knew that the link above that I supplied would download
& install the proper drivers for Ian's Scanner.
Cheers,
Ronni
