I have a Netcom modem NB5 plus 4W with Airport Express plugged in.
The Netcom has a signal (very weak) so I don't use but is broadcasting
as I can't turn off. No instructions in how. It has WPA password.
The Express has WEP password as it dies when I use a WPA one.
As to usage..probably access utube once a month for a couple of
videos..many months not at all.
Don't download music or movies. My husband watches news videos fairly
often. Otherwise it's email and web pages. This month went over 5mb by
25th

Stuff like youtube can use a surprising amount of data quite rapidly.
