Hi Kim, Yes, I understand what you are trying to achieve. I did notice that in MailWasher , "The Friends List" is a list of all email addresses from which you always want to receive messages, regardless of content. Messages from your friends are not labeled as spam, even if the content resembles spam. Which is similar to Apple Mail's Spam / Junk filters.
FireTrust MailWasher used to work on Macs as well as PC's, but I think they have stopped supporting Macs as they were not making any money from it.
