OK, so I've bitten the bullet, downloaded and installed Safari 5 on my Macbook Pro.
One of the new highly touted features is called Safari Reader. To see this in action, you need to go to a web article such as <http://www.macworld.com/article/151858/2010/06/safari5.html> A new "Reader" icon appears in the search bar. Click this and the story you are reading appears in a special window overlay which contains none of the accompanying clutter of the original page. Cute. Oh, and if you rely heavily on 1Password, perhaps you might want to delay installing for a while until Agile issues an update. There's no sign of it in Safari 5. And it definitely feels faster.
