Hi Lloyd,

Download Safari 5 and install it again, especially if you used Software Update 
to download & install Safari 5.

Are you using OS X 10.5.8 or OS X 10.6.3?
Make sure you download the correct version of Safari 5 for your OS at this link 
below:
http://www.apple.com/safari/download/
