Hi all, we have just purchased an imac 21.5 inch and a WD my passport portable hard drive. We tried transferring our photos from our windows hp lap top to the portable hard drive and then importing the photos to iphotos on the imac which seemed to be successful until i was browsing through the photos and it froze, i then 'force quit' the program and now when i try and open iphotos it tells me that 'the iphotos library is locked, on a locked disk or you do not have permission to make changes on it". We did follow the online instructions to format the portable hard drive but are thinking something went wrong there. Can anybody help please? Also i hope i'm emailing my question to the right area! Thanks in advance!
