Hi Sam,

Yeah, if it's a good idea somebody has usually done it. And if they haven't....make sure you do and get a patent on it!!!! :-)

We've put these in for schools where they have an overhead projector or interactive whiteboard a distance away from where the computer will be. It allows you to put a USB extender/booster behind the wall or in the ceiling to get over 5m, without having cable looped across the floor, behind the desk, over the lever arch folders and under the lamp. :-)
