Unfortunately we all leave a digital footprint and more powerful search algorithms are being developed that can connect the dots and garner very explicit details. At this stage it is probably already too late for most of us to start covering our backsides if we want to have some degree of anonymity on the web. The government and private agencies especially those associated with recruitment already have accurate profiles on most people. Companies like Google and Facebook already sell our private data to other agencies.
