Yes, I have installed Silverlight, but not as part of Office (as far as I'm aware). I generally opt to install it whenever I update Fiip4Mac. I still fail to see why this should have a bearing on updating Microsoft Office. Flip4Mac, by the way, updates without asking me to quit anything.
