Sure just open the doc and then print it, using the pdf option in the print
dialogue box ­ I find it best to preview the document first ­ to make sure
you have the page layout as you like it.

Yes again:

* Open iTunes and ³add to library²
* Select the pdf and Itunes will add it to your ³books²
* If you have set-up your iphone to sync books it will be imported on the
next sync 
* iBooks keeps pdfs and books as separate collection - when you open iBooks
it will probably be displaying books ­ click the Books button on the
bookcase and select PDFs in the collections window
* Browse your pdfs.


There are also lots of other reader apps for books and pdfs.
