I just updated Safari to 5.1 but LastPass caused it to crash while opening.
The fix - if you have LastPass installed in Safari, download the app again (using another browser, eg Chrome) and use the uninstaller that comes with it to remove LastPass. After this Safari opened for me with no problems.
