Hi Peta,
I’m ‘guessing’ you are using Keynote’09 to open the PowerPoint Slide
Presentation?
If so you can export the slide presentation to Quicktime movie format H264
which Apple TV ’should’ be able to play.
(I don’t have Apple TV so cannot test this out for you). I have exported
numerous Keynote Slide Presentations of my own to Quicktime .mov and then
created DVDs of them using iDVD for viewing on TV screens.
1. Open the PowerPoint Slide Presentation in Keynote
2. Go to ’Share’ > Export To Quicktime
3. Playback Uses: Recorded Timing (If you wish to keep the same settings as
original)
I normally change these settings to ‘Fixed Timing' to fit my slide durations
etc … probably best if you leave the setting as is though.
Select: ‘Enter full screen mode when opened'
Formats: Full Quality, Large
Audio: select - Include audio (sound files, movie audio)
Include the slideshow soundtrack
Include the slideshow recording
4. Click ’Next’
5. Save As: Name.mov
Choose a Location for the saved .mov: Desktop
6. Click ’Export’
Your Keynote Slide Presentation will be converted and exported to the
location you selected.
7. Quit Keynote
Choose whether you wish to save the changes you have made or not.
Cheers,
Ronni
