I spent a long time yesterday deleting old emails and then checking the Trash and clearing close to 1000 emails. I start up ( from OFF) this am only to find a selection ( not all) emails right back where they were when I started.
Is there some way of re-freshing Mac Mail or even re-installing it, or isn't that necessary?
