Hi Ronni In your third suggestion I found a file titled com.epson.epw.agent.plist Copied and saved, including the pathway, then deleted the original. Restarted. Irritant gone!! Launched EPSON Scan. OK Printed a page. OK Thank you for my Christmas present. I hope your Blessings are many. Merv
