Hi Chris,

I have been using VueScan Pro for some time, and I’m very happy with it. The
pro version gives you extra scanning features and unlimited software updates.
Contra to other scanning softwares, like SilverFast, it does not have a lot of
pre editing corrections. These are mainly made post scan, using Photoshop or
other similar products.

I suggest you try out the demo versions, also for supported scanner, see
http://www.hamrick.com/vuescan/vuescan.htm#supported

I did also get the VueScan Bible book, which gives you more in-depth
information about the VueScan scanning features.

Cheers,
Peder
