the perplexing thing is that it's perfectly possible to double click each .eml file, and have it open in Mail! You can then tell Mail to "Move" the message to a mailbox of your choice, as you have suggested in your opening paragraph. Unfortunately, there is no way to do this in bulk. I'll have a closer look at the Outlook suggestion you made, although it's not clear whether you mean you create the folder within the Outlook application, or create it manually within the Outlook structure on the hard drive. I have tried the first option and it didn't work. Outlook would not accept the files. I'll try the second, but I have my doubts… I'll keep you posted.
