Sure Macs have been able to burn CD/DVDs for ‘since whenever’…

Toast Titanium 11 doesn’t just burn CD/DVDs, you use it to capture, burn, 
convert, copy and share digital media. ... 
I have Toast Titanium 11 Pro which does even more than Toast Titanium 11, of 
course costs more also.
