Hi Adrian, Secure delete can take a very, very long time. It overwrites the data 35 times over - so if you have a 10 GB music library, on that User Account, that secure erase process can easily last 35 hours.
Without knowing the actual write speed of your drive and CPU in practice, it's probably still overwriting.
