Hi Callum, Glad to hear you have your photos synced with iPhoto. Once you get the pics in iPhoto they are saved on your computer (as you probably know) so you don't really need to proceed with saving the photos on all your portable devices as well. If you do also want to save Photo Stream photos to the camera roll on an iPhone or an iPad there is a bit of clicking involved but with the correct sequence you can reduce the click count to around one click per photo, and seeing there is a maximum of 100 photos in Photo Stream that is not too onerous.
For an iPad, for instance, you can proceed as follows 1. Open up the Photos app and select the Photo Stream tab at the top of the page. 2. Click the share button. Its icon is a square with a curved arrow exiting up and to the right. 3. Click each photo of interest, or in your case all the photos. As you touch each a check mark will appear on it. 4. Click the Save button to save the selected photos to Camera Roll. I'll post some thoughts later on your Photo Stream mismatch. I have seen something similar but not as extreme as in your case. Do you have more than one Apple ID?
