Hi all,
Yesterday I restarted my MacBookPro after having issues with upgrading TomTom navigation device ( trick was to use FireFox not Safari - took 2 hours to figure that one out). Anyway a grey screen appeared Apple logo, spinning clock - grey, and loading progress bar, it stopped half way through, after two or three minutes, and the machine shut down.Restarted it and same screen progress bar made very slow progress, hard-drive stopped spinning twice and then after another two or three minutes machine started and ran as it should. So, is this a sign of a impending hardware failure? TechTools Pro 6 said all was okay. I am up to date with everything software wise.
