Was the grey loading progress bar underneath the Apple logo when it started up.
If so, they're "normally" related to Firmware updates (generally).
Everything should be fine, but a few things that can help it along,..

PRAM and SMC reset

Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
        • Shut down your Mac.
        • Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P,
and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
        • Turn on the computer.
        • Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen
appears.
        • Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the
startup sound for the second time.
        • Release the keys.

Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
        • Shut down the computer.
        • Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to
the Mac if its not already connected.
        • On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option
keys and the power button at the same time.
        • Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
        • Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily
turn off when you reset the SMC.

Start up in Safe Boot mode. (restart with the Shift key held down). Let it
start up until you see "Safe Boot" showing, then release the key. It can take a
while for it to start up, so sometimes you have to be a bit patient ;o)
Once it's started up, then restart like normal.

Then Repair Disk Permissions.

Those things should help it along, but generally you should be fine. (if it
does it more frequent, then sometimes I've found a better fix is defragmenting
the drive with something like DiskWarrior.
It fixed quite a few machines that would always show that bar on startup.
Nothing else fixed it, but when I ran DiskWarrior over it, it worked perfectly.

But all going well, it should be ok ;)

Kind regards
Daniel
