Hi Folks

I'm usually pretty observant but sometimes when things are done almost 
automatically ....well here's what's the problem and what I now think may be 
the answer but I would like someone more knowledgeable to put my mind at rest.

I use MYOB Account Edge v8 [not had need or money to upgrade] and almost always 
after processing entries I get prompted to do backup and say yes, backing up to 
an external drive. Unless I actually do something about it the backup folder 
just gets more and more files in it and so a couple of days ago I decided it 
was time to remove most of the old files. There were no backup files after 
August last year.

Panic set in for a few minutes, then i tried to backup again this time sending 
the backup to desktop and not the external drive. The file flashed on the 
desktop and then vanished. Stay calm, maybe something has gone wrong and I need 
to reload the MYOB.

I was just about to do that last night when I thought to look at my Time 
Machine backup and of course there's the MYOB file with the time stamp of the 
end of my last session.

What I would like to know is........have my old style MYOB backups stopped 
showing because of Time Machine? I am a bit slow and I think it was around 
August last year when I at last started using Time Machine.
