Hi Ronni Thanks for the reply. It does show up in Disk Utilities and I can verify the disk (appears to be ok) and repair disk (appears to be ok) Nothing else. I've tried it in other USB connections and other computers, all the same. I've disconnected all devices from the computer/s, same result. It is a while since I used it and cannot remember if it was disconnected improperly. If I could just get the info off it, it would be good. I was able to copy the flash drive as a .dmg but when trying to open it I get the message The following disk images couldn't be opened "FLASH Drive SM_USB20 Media.dmg - no mountable file system Kind regards Peter
