I've made some adjustments and 'little changes' I always do to suit my likes ;-) Setup iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, Find My iPhone/iPad checked everything is working perfectly. One thing I found 'interesting' is the different way to 'Close Apps'. Apple changed the App Switching/App Closing mechanism a bit with iOS 7. It used to be that to close an app, you’d double tap the home button, wait for the app drawer to slide out, then press and hold on an icon until the little “X” appeared. With iOS 7, the whole thing looks and works a bit more like webOS of yesteryear. Double tap the home button to bring up the fullscreen app switcher, which provides a screenshot of each running application in a sideways-scrolling carousel. To close an application, simply swipe the app’s screenshot up and off the screen. Really cool! ;-) I noticed a bit of 'battery drain' so I Disabled “App Background Refresh”. This is the smarter multitasking feature that keeps apps running in the background and refreshing content. It appears to drain a fair bit of battery life. If you notice this on your iPhone/iPad: To disable it, Go to Settings > General >'Background App Refresh' and toggle the setting to off. Your mileage may vary, but it helped my battery life a lot. I also Disabled Automatic App Updates Automatic App Updates is a new feature in iOS 7 where iTunes automatically downloads and updates all your apps for you in the background. That’s handy I guess, but I prefer to update Apps manually. If you’re not comfortable with automatic updates, you can turn them off by going into Settings > iTunes and App Store and toggling the “Updates” setting of “Automatic Downloads” to off. I really like the interface, all very clean and clear! And the NEW sounds are very interesting ;-) I got a bit of a fright the first time I closed my iPad cover and the 'sleep sound' is similar to a "a fast camera shot" sound. I've made a few changes to sounds... Ronni has to 'fiddle' a bit ;-) Cheers, Ronni
