We are going to the uk on Tuesday and I will purchase a prepaid Sim so I can use maps when we are out and about. There are lots of wireless hot spots and most accommodation options will have wireless internet, including family home type bed and breakfast places. But for navigating a SIM is necessary. We have done this in the UK and in the US.
