Hi Marcus, I would expect SplashID Desktop installer came with an Uninstaller included. It is ALWAYS best to use the uninstaller if the developer includes one.
Was this a Demo version of SplashID Desktop? You have been unable to locate the plug-in in: /Library/Internet Plug-Ins Or ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins Did you run the uninstaller I mentioned in my first reply? Try: Check if this file has been left on your system and Delete it. Locate and delete: /Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/SplashID.bundle If you still have a problem you might need to download the SplashID Desktop installer again and see if it includes an uninstaller.
