Hi Neil Go to iTunes menu - Preferences. Go to Store. Tick "Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases". You should then see the songs show up in your Music section in Downloads. You can then click the "cloud with the down pointing arrow" icon, and the songs will download. Once downloaded, you can then un-tick that setting.
That should then get if for you.
