Oh Sorry about that Ronni and Peter. Yes I tried a “Guest Account” and no apparent issues with NC..It works fine, but there are no documents in that account. I added a little used Gmail account and that was OK, with all boxes ticked in NC prefs.
Back in my Principal Account, NC is stable until an Alert appears. The first Alert is From Apps asking whether I want automatic download. This appears after 5 minutes. The remaining MAIL alerts appear after 10 minutes. I can’t close these alerts and the NC window is not able to be opened again. I’m wondering if it’s MAIL that’s the problem. What do think about that? I have 4000 emails in my iCloud Inbox and 5000 in Google Archive. Pretty slack, I know. Sure I would like to get rid of 90% of them. Is there a straightforward bulk removal process? Thanks and sorry to bother you again.
