Hi Peter, I’m not sure what you have done here… In Family Sharing - Contacts is NOT shared? Is your daughter’s iPhone 4 on iOS 9.? I think iPhone 4 can’t go above iOS 9
Your daughter uses her iCloud username and iCloud email address [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> (which will become the child’s Apple ID) Your email address is the ‘rescue email address’ for your daughter’s account. Turn off iCloud Contacts syncing. To prevent contacts from syncing between devices that share the same Apple ID and iCloud account, go to Settings > iCloud and make sure Contacts is not switched on. If you find you need to Restore your Contacts after your daughter deletes your contacts from her iPhone Restore your contacts You can restore your contacts and contact groups from an earlier version that was automatically archived in iCloud. • Go to Settings on iCloud.com <https://www.icloud.com/#settings>, then click Restore Contacts (in the Advanced section). Available versions are listed by the date and time they were archived. • To the right of the version you want to restore, click Restore. There may be more versions than can be shown at once. Scroll to see more. • Note: Wait until iCloud finishes restoring your contacts before you change them. While it’s restoring them, any changes you make aren’t saved. The restored contacts and contact groups appear on all your devices set up for iCloud Contacts. <https://support.apple.com/kb/PH2609?locale=en_US&viewlocale=en_US> If you change your mind, you can restore the contacts you were using. Just follow the steps above to restore the most recent version available. Hope this helps you sort the Contacts problem.
