Just an update on my latest venture in the "wonderful world of Apple”.
After much trial and error, I have now managed to successfully and completely migrate all the data from old MacMini to the new one. I used the term migrate loosely as there appeared to have been several incomplete upgrades. The result of this is now having a very overloaded HD. What should have been a 158 GB upgrade, plus the extra used by the latest OS, has now turned out to end up with a 705 GB HD. I can only assume that all the early attempts have been socked away somewhere and would now like to know if there is any way I can clean them out. On another issue, the new Mini seems to take much longer, up to 3 minutes, to boot up. This is boot time I have not encountered since the days of the old Ap[ple 11GS.
