Hi Peter, Indeed, I have been trying to use Word for Mac with no success and Preview, although at first promising, could not do what I need.
My only course of action is one of the dedicated software like PDF Pen or PDFelement, the latter of which I have downloaded and will be experimenting with it to see whether it will do what I need - mostly edit a graphic and blot and amend some text etc. I have tried the conversion of the PDF into Word, but find the editing very tricky. Bear in mind that not only does it allow you to edit the PDF directly, but it will also convert the file to a Word document, as well as other formats. You can also convert the PDF to a Word format using current versions of PDF Reader, and this DOES require the Internet; btu it’s free, so it might be the best option for a one-off job.
