Hi Barry Just a thought - last year I was having problems similar to this on my itunes (El Capitan) After a lot of messing around, I did a disc check on the internal hard disc where I have my itunes. I recall a few errors appeared, so I replaced the hard drive and transferred itunes onto it and all is working fine now. Just my two bob’s worth.
