Another way around if still not having any success.
Log in to www.office.com and go to the “Install Office”  on that page,…should 
be a link once you log in, or listed under Account.
Then you can click “Install Office” orange button and it will download the full 
Office365 package install again.
Once there, you can download a larger installer, which will go through and 
overwrite the Office that is there with a slightly newer one.
I’ve found on some occasions that this then solves the “can’t install” issue.
