Sadly for all the users of Avast products you are part of the product. 
Your internet browsing history is being harvested by Avast’s browser extensions 
and sold to an affiliate AVG company and from there to advertisers as part of 
Avast’s business model.
If you’re not comfortable with this invasion of your privacy I would recommend 
removing all Avast AV products, including browser extensions, from your 
machines and choosing an alternative product.
