Hi Guy’s I would like to know if any of our Members have had a problem with a Photo Scanner?
I have an Epson Perfection 4870 Photo Scanner and until recently I was able to scan Negatives and Slides (Positives), for some reason I am only able to scan Photo’s, Colour or Black and White and Documents, I have a feeling that the lamp that the scanner uses to enable me to scan Negatives or Slides has died, would anyone know if that could be the problem. I have spent almost a day trying to find information as to the problem without success.I actually downloaded another Driver,/ update, also without success. Tried the scanner with an Older Computer, that didn’t work either. Previously when I was using the scanner a drop down box would show me the options available, ie: Positive. Negative. Text. Colour. Black and White. Now all the drop down box shows: Text. Colour. Black and White. - Positive and Negative have disappeared.
