HI Marcus, yes you’re right, Apple does do equivalent applications but both my 
wife and I are back and forth sharing documents (Word) and spreadsheets (Excel) 
in both directions for various work related things (which are Windows based 
environments) for convenience to ourselves. Maybe they do transition in both 
directions seamlessly but I haven’t verified that - my wife would struggle to 
go back and forth between Office and Mac applications of the same file.

Line of least resistance is my objective here.
