Thanks Daniel. I am quite happy with the current version though. I bought my first CCC late last year when SuperDuper failed to keep up with Big Sur. My monthly backups then jumped from about 20 minutes to 6 minutes. This is the one I keep locked in my safe. Time Machine looks after my everyday stuff.
Looks to me like upgrading to CCC 6 might only interest those using it on an everyday basis. > On 20 May 2021, at 10:47 pm, Daniel Kerr <[email protected]> wrote: > > For all those people on the list that use CCC (Carbon Copy Cloner) they have > released Version 6. - apparently the first major “upgrade” in over 4 years. > > You can read more about it here - > https://www.macrumors.com/2021/05/20/bombich-carbon-copy-cloner-6-released/ > > Or the direct link to their site - > https://bombich.com > > Enjoy > > Kind regards > Daniel > --- > Daniel Kerr > MacWizardry > > p : 0414 795 960 > e : <daniel AT macwizardry.com.au> > w : <http://www.macwizardry.com.au> > > > **For everything Apple** > > NOTE: Any information provided in this email may be my personal opinion and > as such should be taken accordingly, and may not be the views of MacWizardry. > Any information provided does not offer or warrant any form of warranty or > accept liability.
