Cool.
Since the Qt branch was inactive (as in, everyone not committing
patches to it) for a long period of time, have you tried a test merge
(to a new branch?) first to make sure all is OK?

Once that is done, can I convince you of getting rid of popt and all
its dependencies as well?

My only question is what the performance hit will be (if any) going
from SDL to Qt.  Have you profiled it to get some rough estimates?

I can take care of the MSVC files, that shouldn't be a problem.  I
have made Qt stuff before with it.
